Goa has got lot to offer to its artists community and it’s always fun when you are an artist, it’s a fantastic job engaging with the local art community. Most of the local cafe’s invited all the lovely artists to set up a Pop Up Shop in their cafes on weekdays as well as on weekends, which was absolutely a perfect timing for art lovers to visit the Pop Up Shop and buy some art prints and eco-friendly products from the artists corner: Small Business exploration!
The event was very warm and welcoming! Local goan cafes were packed with travellers, holiday shoppers and it was exciting opportunity to chat and show art collections to many of them. I debuted new Tote bags, displayed my best-selling prints, and nearly sold out of my limited-edition art prints. Talk about a successful art flow!
The journey wasn’t easy as it seems but the process grilled to a greater extent that it made me to use my extra skills like how to utilise minimum resources when a canopy is not used for showcasing the product line. Since everyone is shifting towards organic culture this is where I had to use bamboo sticks and ropes which were locally available and most importantly used DIY techniques to decorate and arrange the Pop Up Shop. After my weekdays and weekend Pop Up Shop, I was exhausted. But was worth giving a treat for myself :)
